About the Just Transition Programmes

Just Transition is a suite of business support programmes powered by Start Up Discovery School, backed by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, and designed in partnership with Capital Enterprise. We help diverse climate tech founders in London develop solutions for a fair and inclusive net zero economy.

Programme Overview

Incubator (12 Weeks)

Accelerator (6 Months)

• We especially encourage: Women, young founders (<30), recent graduates, and students
• Early-stage founders with recently registered businesses
• Committed to starting up and testing product ideas

• 12-week support programme
• Weekly workshops (finding product-market fit, funding landscape, MVP traction)
• 1:1 mentorship and peer coaching
• A chance to pitch at our Pitch competition with prizes up to £3,500

📅 Start Date: September 8th

📝 Application Deadline: July 31st

• Diverse pre-seed/seed climate tech businesses
• Hiring or growing in the next 6 months
• Working on themes like: energy efficiency, circular economy, sustainable mobility, affordable energy and green jobs

• Up to £5000 grant funding
• Business development workshops (fundraising, ESG, carbon counting, go-to-market, etc.)
• 1:1 mentorship
• Ecosystem exposure and investor access
• Final pitch showcase
